When it comes to movies, I have very eclectic taste but by far my fave movies growing up were horror flicks! My all time favorite horror film would have to be all the Halloweens and Nightmare on Elm Streets. When it comes to scaryness, Freddy Krueger and Michael Meyers take the cake by far. I remember I was so scared of Freddy that my step-dad took me to the fair one night and an impersonator was there dressed as Freddy and I started screaming. Lol.
The thing I am mostly interested in Halloween the movie is to see where Rob Zombie is going to take the movie since I didn’t like House of 1,000 Corpses but since Halloween has already been an established movie with sequels, it shouldn’t be so hard to make the new Halloween the movie better than all the rest. So far, the trailer looks excellent. Basically, Zombie’s movie happens 17 years after ten-year-old Michael was committed when he is accidentally released from a mental institution. Of course, being the typical Halloween movie, he heads to look for his sister, Laurie, back in Haddonfield. Even though he had just been locked away for seventeen years, don’t be fooled, dear Michael is just as dangerous and as twisted as he was when he was ten, if not more so now.
I’ve embedded the trailer below so you can get goose bumps watching it as well. I am so excited and so pumped. Halloween has been a horror movie classic that has touched many generations since the new Halloween the movie makes number nine, chances are no matter how old you are, you’ve seen them and liked them. So, don’t worry because on August 31st, everyone will be able to see the movie in theaters! Are you excited as I am?
