Cordless Battery Drama

Sponsored, PayPerPost No Comments »

One of my cordless batteries is destroyed! Seems like sir Jack thought it would be fun to try to eat my cordless. He managed to get the back off of it and then bite at the battery and the connector wires fell apart. So now I had to call around today to see who had a Uniden Cordless Phone Battery. I tried a bunch of places but evidently all their workers are moron so I decided to google it and found the battery I needed at Low Cost Batteries. Evidently they have every battery imaginable so I bookmarked their site for the next time I’m in a battery crisis. So my battery has been ordered and should be here next week. Score! Good thing I found that site! So if you are like me and searching for a cordless battery, check them out!

Corey Smith

Music No Comments »

For a while now, I’ve been a really big fan of Corey Smith’s music. I first heard him through my ex so when we broke up I just kind of deleted all his songs and cleared off all the “ex” music from my computer. My brother was over here the other day and I downloaded all 3 of his CD’s and some songs off of his digital-release newest CD and I just have to say, I think I’ve fallen in love with his music again. I’ve attached a youtube video of his music below so you can listen. You know you want to!

Corey is the #1 unsigned country artist on MySpace and within the top 30 artists of all genres. Not only to mention his MySpace page has had over 3 million plays and I am proud to say he’s one of my friends. I just love how his music affects everyone of all ages and his lyrics are addicting. Most of his songs make me think of my brother though about all the Panama City bound stuff. So if you have never heard of Corey Smith, listen below!!

If I Could Do It Again: LIVE Version since I can’t find just the song. So deal with it. It’s a good song though, I promise!

Every Dawg Has It’s Day: My fave song by him!!

Halloween 9

When it comes to movies, I have very eclectic taste but by far my fave movies growing up were horror flicks! My all time favorite horror film would have to be all the Halloweens and Nightmare on Elm Streets. When it comes to scaryness, Freddy Krueger and Michael Meyers take the cake by far. I remember I was so scared of Freddy that my step-dad took me to the fair one night and an impersonator was there dressed as Freddy and I started screaming. Lol.

The thing I am mostly interested in Halloween the movie is to see where Rob Zombie is going to take the movie since I didn’t like House of 1,000 Corpses but since Halloween has already been an established movie with sequels, it shouldn’t be so hard to make the new Halloween the movie better than all the rest. So far, the trailer looks excellent. Basically, Zombie’s movie happens 17 years after ten-year-old Michael was committed when he is accidentally released from a mental institution. Of course, being the typical Halloween movie, he heads to look for his sister, Laurie, back in Haddonfield. Even though he had just been locked away for seventeen years, don’t be fooled, dear Michael is just as dangerous and as twisted as he was when he was ten, if not more so now.

I’ve embedded the trailer below so you can get goose bumps watching it as well. I am so excited and so pumped. Halloween has been a horror movie classic that has touched many generations since the new Halloween the movie makes number nine, chances are no matter how old you are, you’ve seen them and liked them. So, don’t worry because on August 31st, everyone will be able to see the movie in theaters! Are you excited as I am?

Sorry

VLBO, vacationers best friend

Sponsored, PayPerPost No Comments »

My mother and I have been chatting about going on vacation. Yes, we a desperate for a vacation and I personally believe we have more than earned one! For our past vacations we have used vlbo.com since we prefer to stay in cabins/villa/beach house rather that a hotel or condo. We’ve always been like that and if we’re going spend money to stay somewhere, its going be somewhere we like! This site allows you to select your destination and then your housing preference. The reason we are always going back to vlbo is because it lists houses by the owner’s which means, cheaper! Let’s face it, no one knows how to describe a beach house like it’s owner. So if you’re looking for Pigeon Forge villas, Myrtle Beach houses, or even Kauai vacation rentals, check out vlbo!

Ooops. Sorry

Would’ve Been Nice 3 Months Ago

Three months ago, I accidently messed my computer up by not remembering my password that I had set on my computer. Of course, I hadn’t done the password retrieval CD either so I had to completely re-do my computer which majorly sucked because I lost everything. This wouldn’t have happened if I had Online Storage because as soon as I re-did my computer I could’ve just re-downloaded all my files. With IBackup, you have a mapped-out folder or drive on your desktop which means you can simply drag and drop files from your computer into the folder to be stored online. How simple is that? Not only is it easy, its desktop applications are able to outperform the others in some instances. How awesome is that? Fast and easy! What more could you ask for?!

Avalon High

Review, Books No Comments »

The Info

Source: Book
Title: Avalon High
Author: Meg Cabot
Sypnosis: Having moved to Annapolis, Maryland, with her medievalist parents, high school junior Ellie enrolls at Avalon High School where several students may or may not be reincarnations of King Arthur and his court.

The Review

Okay, when it comes to books about reincarnation and things of that nature, I am usually not into them. With this book, I literally read it in one day. Once I started reading, I found it very hard to put it down. Meg Cabot has done it again! She has a way with writing in a way in which her readers are able to picture everything that is going on in the book. Not only did I read a great story, I learned things as well. This book was awesome and I’d recommend it to everyone!
